Meditation itself has no connotation or denomination.
Just like a string of beads can be used as a bracelet, hair band for beauty purposes or as a rosary, or worrying beads for the purpose of prayer and connection with a god,
meditation is just a tool used for various purposes: relaxation, enhanced perception, enhanced sexual performance or connection with a god.

Mindfulness meditation teaches us to pay attention to the present moment in a relaxed, non- attached way – to be awake. There is no ultimate goal to be achieved other than the ability to observe our thoughts feelings and body sensations, allowing them to pass, like clouds on the sky.
